Welcoming a new addition to your family is a transformative event. Every birth situation is unique and all expecting families can benefit from having knowledgeable, dedicated support tailored to their needs and wishes.
My goal is to help families be confident, prepared and fully supported for the best possible experience, no matter the path. I strive to empower families through compassionate, unbiased, judgment-free doula care and provide trustworthy information and resources to aid you in informed decision-making and support your choices, as part of your birth team. I have worked in many birth settings: hospital, birth center and home birth and with many different birth experiences. This has given me insight into the range of providers, environments and situations families can experience. It is always an amazing experience to walk alongside families through this incredible journey. I love building relationships and learn from everyone I work with. I am a CD(DONA) Certified Birth Doula, an Oregon Traditional Health Worker: Birth Doula, a Stillbirthday doula, Certified Lactation Specialist, Body Ready Method® Certified Pro and an Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Instructor. I am curious and a lifelong learner and have additional training in massage for labor and delivery, aromatherapy, VBAC, postpartum recovery and babywearing. I am also trained in trauma informed care and trauma prevention, infant loss, fertility/adoption/ surrogacy, and birth justice.
