Welcoming a new addition to your family is a transformative event. Every birth situation is unique and all expecting families can benefit from having knowledgeable, dedicated support tailored to their needs and wishes.
My goal is to help families be confident, prepared and fully supported for the best possible experience, no matter the path. I strive to empower families through compassionate, unbiased, judgment-free doula care and provide trustworthy information and resources to aid in informed decision-making and help families be prepared and confident. I have worked in many birth settings: hospital, birth center and home birth. This has given me insight into the range of providers, environments and situations families can experience. It is a privilege to build relationships and learn from everyone I work with. It is always an amazing experience to walk alongside families through this incredible journey I have always loved babies and children. My passion for birth work was kindled by my own pregnancies and births and supporting friends and others during their birth experiences. I am a CD(DONA) Certified Birth Doula, an Oregon Traditional Health Worker: Birth Doula, a Stillbirthday doula and a Body Ready Method® Certified Pro. I am curious and a lifelong learner and have additional training in preparation for birth, labor positioning and comfort measures, massage for labor and delivery, aromatherapy, VBAC, lactation, postpartum recovery and babywearing. I am also trained in trauma informed care and trauma prevention, infant loss, fertility/adoption/surrogacy, and birth justice. I am contracted with the Community Doula Program to serve families insured through the InterCommunity Health Network (IHN) – Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties, and am also contracted through Tricare for military families.
