Becky has been a DONA-certified birth doula since 2001 and has been working with laboring moms and their babies since 1992. Most of her experience is in hospital births and her passion is labor and birth.
Everyone has an idea of what they would like their birth to be like. Her goal is to help moms and their partners work through the birth process and try to achieve the experience they are hoping for. Sometimes issues come up that change the original plan. She has over 20 years of birth experience to help support you with your original plan or to help anticipate and/or work with issues that might come up. She has worked with women having water births, unmedicated and medicated births, VBACs (Vaginal birth after cesarean section), inductions, and cesarean sections. As your doula, her job is to provide support and encouragement for you and your partner through the birth process without interfering with your support of each other. |
